Built By A Vendor.
For Vendors.
YOVIK was built from mistakes, questions, research, and the simple belief that new vendors shouldn't have to figure everything out the hard way.
I Didn't Want To Keep
The Knowledge To Myself.
Starting out, one of the hardest things I ran into was figuring out what I didn't even know I needed to know.
Permits. Legal requirements. Pricing. COGS. Marketing. Finding customers.
There was always another question I didn't know to ask.
But one of the hardest parts wasn't learning what to do.
It was waiting to actually get started.
I called this my “I don't know when” phase.
I had bought the equipment. Paid for permits. Put money into the dream. I was ready to work.
Then I waited.
And waited.
Months went by waiting for an inspection. When the inspection finally came, a small detail could mean failing — and then waiting even longer for another visit.
That uncertainty was hard.
Looking back, I could have kept working while I waited. If I had known how long the process might take, I would have planned differently.
Instead, I was sitting there wondering:
“When am I actually going to be able to start?”
That uncertainty affected my finances. It created stress at home. At times, it even made me question whether I should keep chasing the dream or just go back to another job.
I didn't want another vendor to go through that without having somewhere to turn.
That's a big part of why YOVIK exists.
I wanted to take the things I had to learn the hard way — the mistakes, the questions, the research, and the lessons — and put them somewhere other vendors could actually use them.
You shouldn't have to figure everything out the hard way just because you're new.
What I Wish
I Had When I Started.
When you're new, there are a thousand things you can get wrong — and sometimes you don't even know you're getting them wrong.
There Isn't Only
One Way To Be Great.
One thing that bothered me while learning was how often people treated their way of doing business like it was the only way.
Someone does something differently, and suddenly their method is wrong because it isn't the method someone else used.
I don't believe that's how business works.
There are plenty of ways to be great.
YOVIK isn't here to tell every vendor to run their business the exact same way. It's here to give you better information, better resources, and better tools so you can make decisions that actually fit your business.
I Started Documenting
Everything.
At first, I was simply trying to keep myself from making the same mistake twice.
I started documenting what I learned, researching products, watching how-to videos, studying processes, and collecting information that could actually help me become a better vendor.
Eventually, the idea grew into something bigger.
SOPs & Guides
Practical resources built around real vendor needs.
Product Research
Reviews and research to help you make smarter purchases.
How-To Resources
Useful information without making you dig through the internet for hours.
Business Tools
Custom tools designed to help vendors plan and make better decisions.
Because I Know
What $10 Can Mean.
I've been in the position where you're watching every dollar.
When you're living check-to-check, even ten dollars can mess up a budget.
That's why YOVIK's starter resources are free.
If you're thinking about becoming a vendor, you should be able to test the waters, research the business, and start planning without having to pay just to find out whether vending is right for you.
Start with what you need. Grow when you're ready.
YOVIK Isn't Built
From The Outside Looking In.
I'm still a vendor.
I still know what it's like to load up, set up, wait for customers, have a great day, have a terrible day, and wonder what I could have done differently.
And honestly, I love it.
I love the freedom. I love the independence. I love being able to make my own decisions and build something that belongs to me.
If my family needs me, I can close up and go home.
I can make plans for my life without wondering whether a boss is going to change my schedule or fire me.
Vending has made me more involved in my own life because it gives me something incredibly valuable:
This Is Bigger
Than A Website.
My long-term goal is for YOVIK to become a leading education platform for vendors.
I want YOVIK to become a name vendors know — a place they can turn to when they're starting, struggling, growing, or simply trying to become better at what they do.
That means more tools. More resources. More education. More collaboration with experienced vendors and educators.
Eventually, I want to see YOVIK hosting seminars, traveling to vendor events, collaborating with educators, and building an in-house team dedicated to helping vendors succeed.
We're just getting started.
I Made The Mistakes.
I'll Help You Avoid Them.
I'm a vendor who made mistakes, learned from them, and decided to build the resource I wish I had when I started.
I'm never going to pretend there's only one way to succeed. But I will keep studying, researching, testing, and building so the information YOVIK provides can help you make better decisions.
